Who was Karol Schayer?

Karol Schayer was a Polish architect and soldier.

He was a designer of representative buildings in Katowice, Warsaw, Beirut.

Schayer immigrated to Lebanon during World War II, collaborated with Fritz Gothelf, a German architect educated in the spirit of the Bauhaus, and with Bahij Makdissi a Lebanese structural engineer.
