Who is Kasey Kahne?
Kasey Kenneth Kahne is a former NASCAR driver and presently competes on the dirt tracks in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for his self-owned, Kasey Kahne Racing team. He was known for driving the No. 5 Farmers Insurance Group/Great Clips Chevrolet SS for Hendrick Motorsports in the Cup Series. He also found success driving for Ray Evernham (2008-2010) in the No. 9 Budweiser Dodge. Kahne exited the series after the 2018 season, his last victory coming at the Brickyard 400 the previous year.
Off the track, Kahne is active in charitable work and is a member of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation. He has employed several drivers in the World of Outlaws series, including Daryn Pittman, Cody Darrah, and Brad Sweet who ran in USAC midgets for him as well. He also fielded a car for Brady Bacon in the USAC Sprint Car Series. Kahne is a two-time Skagit Speedway winner of the Annual Jim Raper memorial Dirt Cup, and holds the current record for the fastest lap at Skagit.
