Who is Kayvan Mirhadi?

Kayvan Mirhadi is an Iranian composer, conductor, and guitarist.

In the course of his career Mirhadi has conducted many choirs and chamber orchestras dedicated to classical music.

He owns a choir and chamber orchestra called Camerata and has begun to perform contemporary classical such as Philip Glass, Arvo Pärt in Iran; And for the first time in Iran he arranged some tracks of Rock-band celebrities for his orchestra such as Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Scorpions, Iron Maiden and has begun to give live concerts.

He has taught choir, Guitar, Theory of western music and History at the University of Tehran, Azad University, Tehran conservatory and the old and prestigious Tehran college of music.

Mirhadi has been one of the jouries for Young Guitarists Festival and the chief-joury for Isfahan's first festival on Guitar plafirst book called: Music A-Z on the Theory of western music.

He conducted a fusion concert and transcribed the works of the Setar virtuoso Massoud Shoari for the large classical-traditional Ensemble and gave concert in 2003 at Tehran Opera House.

During 2002-3 he wrote essays and critics on music and musicians in "Golestaneh" art magazine. In 2007 he wrote an original score for a movie called The Lives of feet which participated in festival international du court metrage film festival.
