Who is Kennedy Goodkey?

Kennedy Goodkey is a Canadian writer and actor from British Columbia. He is best known for his work in the independent Vancouver theatre world as well as many years spent on the fringe festival theatre circuit. He was the winner of the First National Sketch Writing Competition and is a principal in the Vancouver production company, Provost Pictures.

As an actor, Goodkey has appeared in The L Word and Sons of Cohen for which he also wrote the screenplay. He was the first recipient of the Provost Writer's Award for his play Sarcophagus, about the Chernobyl disaster. He has been nominated for the Jessie Richardson Award. He also wrote and co-starred in The Beast of Bottomless Lake - a modern comic adaptation of Moby Dick starring David Nykl.

As a writer, Goodkey's credits include the animated films, A David Lynch Family Christmas and The Gnome Who Knew Too Much, winner of the 'Special Achievement Award' at the 2003 ReelFast 48HR Filmmaking Competition. He wrote the live action short Rewind, and the shorts Godot and Straight Flush, which he also directed.
