Who was Kenneth Riches?

The Rt. Rev. Kenneth Riches was an Anglican Bishop during the second half of the 20th century.

Educated at Colchester Royal Grammar School and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, he was ordained in 1933. His first post was at St Mary’s Portsea, after which he became Chaplain at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. Following wartime service as a Chaplain to the Forces he was appointed Principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon. In 1952 he ascended to the Episcopate as Bishop of Dorchester and was translated to Lincoln five years later.
