Who is Kenneth P. Weiss?

Kenneth P. Weiss is an American entrepreneur, human factors engineer and inventor. Weiss invented the SecurID Card, now a trademark of RSA Security. Weiss founded Security Dynamics in 1984 and served as CEO until 1986 and chairman of the board and CTO until 1996. The company's security products - the SecurID Card and RSA encryption - have become world standard technologies for computer security, electronic commerce and identity authentication. Security Dynamics was ranked among the top 100 software companies in the world. In 2006 the company was purchased by EMC Corporation. Currently, Weiss is the founder and CEO of Universal Secure Registry™, LLC.

An internationally recognized author, spokesperson, and inventor with 22 U.S. patents and numerous foreign patents, Weiss currently has five new patents and patents pending to address identity theft, secure financial transactions, interpersonal funds transfer, a mobile or digital wallet, and an improved replacement for the SecurID card.
