M Khurshid Ali was a freedom fighter of the Liberation War of Bangladesh. He is considered by some to be a martyr of the war. He was studying in Mirzapur Cadet College at the time of the war.
The central library of Mirzapur Cadet College still bears the memoirs of Shahid Khorshed. A portrait of Khorshed reminds the students of his life.
