Who is Kikujirō Fukushima?

Kikujirō Fukushima is a Japanese photographer writing a book titled “Postwar Japan that was not photographed: From Hiroshima to Fukushima.” The documentary film "Nippon no Uso" provides insight into the life of Fukushima. Based on Fukushima’s 250,000 photos and his own experiences, the film shows the little-known side of Japan’s postwar path. Directed by Saburo Hasegawa and produced by Documentary Japan, the film was scheduled to be released on August 4, 2012 in Tokyo.
