Who is Kirk Cox?
Marvin Kirkland "Kirk" Cox is an American politician. Since 1990 he has served in the Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 66th district, made up of the southern Richmond suburb of Colonial Heights and nearby parts of Chesterfield County. Cox is a member of the Republican Party; he was the House majority whip 2004–2010 and has been majority leader since December 2010.
Cox has served on the House committees on Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources, Appropriations, Chesapeake and Its Tributaries, Conservation and Natural Resources, General Laws, Labor and Commerce, Privileges and Elections, and Rules.
