Who is Ladislav Škantár?
Ladislav Škantár is a Slovak slalom canoer who has competed since the late 1990s along with his cousin Peter Škantár in the C-2 category. He won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold, three silvers and three bronzes.
He won the overall World Cup title in the C-2 category in 2009 and 2010.
At the European Championships he has won a total of 9 medals.
