Who is Laurie Kilmartin?

Laurie Kilmartin was a finalist in 2010's season of NBC's Last Comic Standing. She has been seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central and Showtime, plus appeared as a talking head on The Rachel Maddow Show, Fox 'n Friends, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, VH1's Best Week Ever and Oprah. Laurie also had her ass handed to her on Hannity and Colmes. She has written for The Bonnie Hunt Show, CBS's "The Late Late Show w/Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central's 'Too Late w/Adam Carolla" and "Tough Crowd w/Colin Quinn," and performed at the Montreal, Aspen and Edinburgh comedy Festivals. Regarding her performance at Edinburgh, the Guardian UK said, "She's the best comedian we've seen so far. She throws away lines most comedians would die for." On her Last Comic Standing performances, the What's So Funny blog wrote, "Kilmartin had some good and sick baby material. We're used to the male perspective... but it's even sicker when the nurturing mother does it. Sick in a good way. Funny stuff."

Her CD, Five Minutes to Myself, was named one of the top ten comedy CDs of 2009. Laurie lives with her accidental son in Los Angeles.
