Who is Lindsay Tait?
Lindsay Michael Tait is a New Zealand professional basketball player.
Tait played for the Auckland Stars in the New Zealand NBL from 2000–2007, winning three championships. From 2008–2011, he played for the Wellington Saints, winning championships in 2010 and 2011 and was awarded the Finals MVP in both wins.
The 1.90 metre tall guard was part of the 2006 Commonwealth Games Tall Blacks side that won the silver medal.
Tait played for the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian NBL for the club's first three seasons. For the 2006–07 season, Tait played in Switzerland for BC Boncourt. He was with the Wollongong Hawks in the 2007–08 season but was injured, returning for the 2008–09 season.
Tait returned to the Australian NBL in December 2010, signing with the Cairns Taipans midway through the 2010–11 season.
For the 2012 New Zealand NBL season, Tait played for the Auckland Pirates, winning the 2012 NBL championship.
For 2013, Tait returned to the Wellington Saints after the Pirates pulled out of the 2013 season. He was named the 2013 MVP.
Tait is married to Anna-Maria of whom he has two children with.
