Who is Lisa Cooper?

Lisa A. Cooper is a public health physician, and professor at Johns Hopkins.

She graduated from Emory University with a B.A. and from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine with an M.D., and from the Johns Hopkins University with an M.P.H. in 1993. In 1999, she published findings in the Journal of the American Medical Association: race is a factor in health care. "Her research program focuses on patient-centered strategies for improving outcomes and overcoming racial and ethnic disparities in healthcare."
