Who is Luis Fernando Tena?
Luis Fernando Tena Garduño is a Mexican football coach and the current manager of Liga MX club Cruz Azul. His brother, Alfredo Tena, is also a coach.
Tena was the coach of the Mexico national football team where he was also the assistant manager of José Manuel de la Torre from 2010 to 2013.
Most recently, he coached the U-23 Mexican team that won the Football Gold Medal at the London 2012 Olympics. This was the first time Mexico won any Olympic medal for football, and in the process of winning gold by beating Brazil in the final match, they deprived Brazil of winning their first Olympic gold medal.
