Who was M. P. Narayana Pillai?
M. P. Narayana Pillai, affectionately known as Nanappan, was a journalist and prolific short story writer in Malayalam. His also wrote a novel Parinamam that won the Kerala Sahithya Academy Award in 1992. However, he declined the award. His work Yathrakkidayil was considered to be a classic in Malayalam short stories.
