Who is M. Subramaniam?
M. Subramaniam was a mayor of Chennai from 2006–2011, the capital of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. He is a member of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party. He again contested for the mayoral election in 2011 as a DMK candidate, but lost to Saidai Sa Duraisamy of ADMK.
He is a lawyer by profession and he lives in Guindy Labour Colony.
