Who is M. Travis Lane?
Millicent Travis Lane is an American-Canadian poet.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, and Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Cornell University.
She was married to Lauriat Lane Jr., Professor Emeritus of English at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. The couple emigrated to Canada in 1960 and in 1973 attained Canadian citizenship. They had one daughter, Hannah, and one son, Lauriat Lane III.
Lane lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
