Who is Marc Brickman?

Marc Brickman is a lighting and production designer whose work and profile has been featured in publications and broadcasts including The New York Times, the television programme 48 Hours and others. Recognized as a cutting edge innovator in the industry, Brickman's awards and accolades include Emmy Award and CableACE Award nominations for production design and best director, 2004 Lighting Designer of the Year. In 2012, he teamed up with Steven Van Zandt and Dietrich Juengling to co-direct and co-produce the Broadway production Once Upon a Dream featuring the The Rascals.

Brickman made history with one of the world's most iconic buildings as his canvas in late 2012. The Empire State Building, with lighting provided by Phillips Lighting. The ESB had its first light show on the Fourth of July, 2012. The programme was designed by Brickman and Juengling, with music performed by Alicia Keys.
