Who is Mark Newby-Robson?

Mark Newby-Robson is a classical keyboard player, composer and writer from Suffolk, England.

Robson has been a guest keyboardist in Suffolk-based extreme metal band Cradle of Filth whilst the band were touring in 1999, after having former keyboardist, Lecter, leave the band. During Robson's time in Cradle of Filth in 1999, he was easily distinguished as wearing a horror-style mask, covering half of his face, displaying metal bars at the mouth. Robson had rejoined Cradle of Filth in 2006 as once again, a guest musician, playing on the album Thornography along with two other keyboard players. In 2008, he co-wrote Cradle of Filth's Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder album along with Paul Allender in the music aspect of the record, with Dani Filth composing the lyrics. The following year he appeared as a session keyboardist on Megadeth's album Endgame.

He has worked at West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds, as a teacher of music technology and a studio tech.
