Who was Martin Dunbar-Nasmith?

Admiral Sir Martin Eric Dunbar-Nasmith VC KCB KCMG, was a Royal Navy officer who was awarded the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was born Martin Eric Nasmith, adding "Dunbar" to his surname in 1923.
