Who is Martin Narey?
Sir Martin James Narey is an advisor to the British Government, and a former civil servant and charity executive. He served as Director General of the Prison Service of England and Wales between 1998 and 2003, and Chief Executive of the National Offender Management Service from 2004 to 2005. He was as Chief Executive Officer of the charity Barnardo's from 2005 to 2011. He is currently a special advisor to the education secretary Michael Gove.
