Who is Martin Truex, Jr.?

Martin Lee Truex Jr. is an American stock car racing driver. He drove the No. 78 Chevrolet SS for Furniture Row Racing to the NASCAR Cup Series championship in 2017, racking up 8 wins in the process. Truex is a two-time Nationwide Series champion; having won the title in 2004 and 2005. His younger brother, Ryan is a champion in the K&N Pro Series East division and currently a driver in the Xfinity Series for Joe Gibbs Racing, while his cousin Curtis raced for JR Motorsports.

Though Truex Jr. has hinted at retirement, he still drives full-time for Joe Gibbs Racing, these days in the No. 19 Toyota Camry, in NASCAR's headline series.
