Who is Michael Mann?
The Rt Rev Michael Ashley Mann KCVO was an eminent Anglican clergyman during the last quarter of the 20th century.
He was born on 25 May 1924 and educated at Harrow School and Sandhurst, from 1946 to 1955 he served in the Colonial Service in Nigeria. Ordained in 1957 he was later Vicar of Sparkwell, a Canon Residentiary at Norwich Cathedral, Bishop of Dudley and finally Dean of Windsor. He retired in 1989. He died on 31 December 2011.
