Who is Michael Brynntrup?
Michael Brynntrup is a German experimental filmmaker and media artist living in Berlin. Since 2006 he has been Professor for Film/Video at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig. He has received awards for his films, including the Images Award at the Toronto Images Festival in 1998 and the main award of the German competition at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen in 1991. He has shown his work, often in retrospectives at international festivals such as the São Paulo Short Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival and Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul.
