Michael James Fitzgerald is awriter and author. He began his career as a technical writer in 1983 after graduating from Brigham Young University with a BA in English in April of that year. He has worked full-time or on contract for such companies as Tektronix, Mentor Graphics, and Intel. He has written seven technical books and numerous technical articles. He has also been a presenter at several conferences such as OSCON 2007.
