Michael Lehman

Who is Michael Lehman?

As Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate

Resources for Sun Microsystems, Inc., Lehman holds management

responsibilities for the company's finance, information technology, and

global business services functions. He reports directly to Jonathan

Schwartz, Sun's chief executive officer and president.

Lehman's blue-chip credentials include a long and successful

association with Sun, both as an executive and, most recently, as a

board member. He served on Sun's board in various capacities from 2002

until re-joining the company as CFO in February 2006.

Previously, Lehman was vice president and corporate controller of

Sun, where he was responsible for the preparation of the company's

public financial information, overseeing Sun's financial staff, and

coordinating the company's outlook and budgeting processes. Before

this, Lehman was the director of finance and administration for Sun's

Asian subsidiaries based in Hong Kong.

Before his career at Sun, Lehman was a Certified Public Accountant

with Price Waterhouse, and worked in the Milwaukee and San Francisco

offices.

Lehman serves on the board of directors of the University of

Wisconsin Foundation and is former chair of the Dean's Advisory Board

of the school of business at Madison. He is also on the board of MGIC

Investment Corporation, where he serves as chair of MGIC's Audit

Committee.

Lehman holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a

major in accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
