Who is Mike Mason?

Mike Mason is an American football wide receiver who was signed briefly by the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. Mason was signed on May 3, 2007; he was waived on August 28, 2007 after three preseason games.

While under contract with the Browns, Mason was arrested and charged with three misdemeanors after struggling with Cleveland police officers in June, 2007.

He was signed as an undrafted free agent after completing his college career at Tennessee State. Mason originally attended the University of North Carolina but was dismissed from the football team before his senior season for disciplinary reasons. Mason, along with Adarius Bowman and Jesse Holley, was part of the so-called "Big Three" highly rated wide receivers in 2003. Out of those three, only Holley made it through his senior season at UNC.

Mason is most known for having exceptional speed. He also set the school record for wide receivers in the power clean and the 40 yard dash.
