Who is Nalini Joshi?
Nalini Joshi is an Australian mathematician.
Joshi is currently a Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney, and a Past-President of the Australian Mathematical Society. She is a member of the School's Applied Mathematics Research Group.
Joshi completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney, receiving a Bachelor of Science with Honours in applied mathematics. She holds a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy from Princeton University in applied mathematics. She completed her Ph.D. in 1987 under the supervision of Martin David Kruskal.
