Who is Nancy Ramey?
Nancy Jane Ramey is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic medalist, and former world record-holder in two events. She represented the United States at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, where she received a silver medal in the women's 100 metre butterfly.
At time of the Olympics, she was a student at Mercer Island High School. Ramey later attended the University of Washington and the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She later became an assistant professor at Stanford University and married Jim Lethcoe.
