Who is Nasos Galakteros?

Athanasios "Nasos" Galakteros is a retired Greek professional basketball player.

He started his career from Amyntas BC and later he played for AEK BC. He was a Greek Cup finalist in 1992.

In 1993 he moved to PAOK BC. While playing for PAOK BC he won the Korać Cup in 1994 and the Greek Cup in 1995.

The next year Nasos Galakteros played for Olympiacos BC. He won 2 Greek Championships, 1 Greek Cup, and the Euroleague. The best season of his career was 1996-1997 when he won the Triple Crown in Basketball with Olympiacos.

In 1998 Galakteros won the Greek Cup while playing for Aris BC.

He also won the 6th place in the 1990 FIBA World Championship and the 4th in the 1994 FIBA World Championship while playing for the Greek national basketball team.
