Who was Nellie Fox?
Jacob Nelson "Nellie" Fox was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as a second baseman on three teams, primarily the Chicago White Sox, from 1947 through 1965. He was the American League Most Valuable Player in 1959 and was an American League All-Star for 12 seasons. Fox was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997.
