Who is Nicola de la Haye?
Nicholaa de la Haye was castellan of Lincoln castle for approximately thirty years, and, briefly, sheriff of Lincolnshire. The eldest daughter and co-heiress of Richard de la Haye, a Lincolnshire lord, she was also a descendant of the pre-Conquest Lord Colswain of Lincolnshire.
