Who is Odeefuo Boa Amponsem III?
Odeefuo Boa Amponsem III was born on 11 November 1932 in Ghana as John Kwame Amofa Appiah. He studied Public Administration in Pennsylvania. In 1955 he became Odeefuo Boa Amponsem III, King of Denkyirain the Central Region of Ghana. In 1999 he was elected President of the National House of Chiefs.
In Jukwa and in Dunkwa-on-Offin, the year 2005 marked his Golden Jubilee. He is currently living in Jukwa. He was good friends with the late James Yaw Buadi, whom he appointed as a local Chief to rule three local areas in Dunkwa.
