Who is Ofer Bengal?
Ofer is a
multi-disciplinary serial entrepreneur. Until 2006 he was CEO
President of Edge Medical Devices, a provider of advanced digital
radiography systems. Prior to that Ofer was the founder and CEO of
Mobile Economy, a global provider of Operational Support Systems to
mobile operators. From 1990 to 2000 Ofer was the founder, CEO and
director of RIT Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: RITT), a provider of
sophisticated telecommunications and data communications systems to
major world carriers. Prior to RIT, Ofer ran a privately owned
consulting firm in the field of aerospace engineering and was privately
involved in inventing, developing and licensing toy concepts. From 1974
until 1983 he was a senior engineer in the Israeli Air Force. Ofer has
a B.Sc. degree (Cum Laude) in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion,
Israel Institute of Technology. Ofer is a board member of several
high-tech companies.
