Who was Ole Berntsen?
Ole Valdemar Berntsen was a Danish sailor and Olympic champion. He was born in Hellerup and died in Gentofte.
He competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where he received a gold medal in the dragon class with the boat White Lady, together with crew members Christian von Bülow and Ole Poulsen. He received a silver medal in the dragon class at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, and a bronze medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.
