Who was Pappy Waldorf?

Lynn Osbert "Pappy" Waldorf was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College—now Oklahoma State University–Stillwater, Kansas State University, Northwestern University, and the University of California, Berkeley, compiling a career college football record of 157–89–19. Waldorf had the most career victories of any Cal head coach at 67 until he was surpassed in 2010 by Jeff Tedford. Waldorf was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1966.
