Who is Pat Smear?
Georg Albert Ruthenberg, better known as Pat Smear, is an American musician. He is best known as a guitarist in the rock band Foo Fighters, with whom he has recorded three studio albums, as a founding member of the punk band Germs, and as a live guitarist for grunge icons Nirvana, notably on their famous MTV Unplugged performance.
Smear also appeared regularly on the MTV fashion show House of Style with Cindy Crawford.
