Who is Patrick Neighly?

Patrick Neighly is a writer and experimental filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, California. Although well established as a journalist focused on Asia Pacific technology and culture, he is better known in some quarters for independently produced comic books and graphic novels, some of which are in development for film and television. Neighly has a tendency to rebuff advances from larger publishers in favor of creative freedom, although his subject matter tends toward traditional action/adventure with political and existential undertones.

Neighly has undertaken limited work for hire, generally restricted to editing and ghost writing for publishers such as Disinformation and manga giant Tokyopop. This work is usually published under a number of pseudonyms. Neighly briefly contributed a number of columns on the small press comics space to prominent portal Newsarama. As a journalist and editor he has contributed to a number of print magazines, including Asian Century, America's Network, Bandwidth, CFQ, CommsDayGlobal, The Euronet and 3G Americas. Neighly has also contributed media content to UK portal Telecom TV.
