Who is Paul Broks?
Paul Broks is an English neuropsychologist and science writer. He is Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Plymouth and Honorary Consultant in Neuropsychology. He is a regular contributor to Prospect and has written for The Times, Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, and Granta.
Broks trained as a clinical psychologist at Oxford University and went on to specialize in neuropsychology. He has pursued a career combining both clinical practice and basic research. He lives in Cornwall with his wife and two sons.
Broks's Into the Silent Land: Travels in Neuropsychology was shortlisted for the Guardian First Book Award 2003 and is being adapted for the London stage.
