Who is Perry O. Hooper, Sr.?

Perry Oliver Hooper, Sr., is an American jurist who served as the twenty-seventh Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court from 1995 to 2001. He was the first Republican since Reconstruction to have been elected to his state's highest court.
