Who was Petter Hugsted?
Petter Hugsted was a champion Norwegian ski jumper. Born in Kongsberg, Hugsted was held in the Grini concentration camp during the German occupation of Norway. He won the Olympic gold medal in ski jumping in 1948 Winter Olympics at St. Moritz. He was also an excellent soccer player and was the captain of the Norwegian B-National soccer team.
