Who is Prabath Nissanka?
Ratnayake Arachchige Prabath Nissanka is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.
Having had an impressive debut in Sharjah in October 2001, picking up two wickets in the process, Nissanka soon found himself subject to an attack by Naved Latif and Inzamam-ul-Haq upon the following meeting of the two teams. Nissanka also played List A cricket between 1998 and 2003. He is a member of the MRF Foundation for pace bowlers. Unfortunately his career was cut short due to his injury problems.Doctors have said that the probability of him playing competitive cricket ever in his life again is minimum. He is now working on a career as a physical trainer.
