Who is Prabowo Subianto?
Prabowo Subianto is an Indonesian businessman, politician and former special forces soldier. In the Indonesian presidential election, 2009 he ran for the vice-presidency as part of Megawati Sukarnoputri's unsuccessful campaign for president. In November 2011, Prabowo announced his intention to run for president in the next Indonesian presidential election, 2014. Prabowo is the son of Soemitro Djojohadikoesoemo and former husband of Titiek Suharto, the late President Suharto's daughter.
