Who is Quenby Fung?

Quenby Fung, who was born as Fung Yan Yan, is a famous novelist in Hong Kong focus on writing Chinese children's literature for early teens. She had been writing stories and novels when she was studying in university. She became a teacher later on when returned to Hong Kong from studying in the United States, and started a column in a local leading newspaper, the Ming Pao.

Quenby's pen name came from her first novel, "Quenby", which is also her English name. Her story is known for describing the subtle change in feelings and behavioural change of teenagers, as she is an experienced English teacher in a local girl school. Many schools choose her story as selected book for book reports.
