Who is Quintus Marcius Philippus?
Quintus Marcius Philippus was a Roman consul in 186 BC and 169 BC.
According to the historian Titus Livius he was badly defeated by the apuan ligures in the battle of 186 b.c. of Saltus Marcius, fought, probably, in the territory of Seravezza.
He held praetura in Sicily in 189 BC. In 164 BC he was elected censor with Lucius Aemilius Paullus Macedonicus.
