Who is R. L. Jalappa?
R.L. Jalappa was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Chikballapur constituency of Karnataka and is a member of the Indian National Congress political party. In 1996, he was elected to the 11th Lok Sabha as a Janata Dal candidate. Later he was re-elected to the Lok Sabha in 1998, 1999 and 2004 as an Indian National Congress candidate. He was also former union minister in the ministry of Deve Gowda. He is also the chairman of the Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College situated in Kolar.
