Who is Reimy?
Reimy is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She is a younger sister to Mayumi Horikawa, Clarion Girl of 1978.
On January 1, 1984, a photograph of Reimy in the possession of the sister caught the eyes of an agent for Masataka and Yumi Matsutoya; Reimy consequently had the Matsutoyas' full backing for her debut album. Eventual soundtrack and CM music management under the name Remedios began 1993.
Reimy has collaborated with Japanese movie producer Shunji Iwai on several soundtracks.
