Who was Rian James?
Rian James was an American screenwriter, born in Eagle Pass, Texas. He wrote for 39 films between 1932 and 1947.
A "Jack of all trades", he worked as a foreign correspondent, parachute jumper, stunt man, airmail pilot, Air Force lieutenant, vaudeville actor, and finally, writer, director and producer. He died at age 53, from undisclosed causes, in Newport Beach, California.
