Who is Robbie Lawler?
Robert Glen "Robbie" Lawler is an American mixed martial artist currently signed with the UFC competing in the Welterweight division. Lawler is a former EliteXC Middleweight Champion, and also competed in Strikeforce, the IFC, Pride FC, the IFL, and King of the Cage. He is a member of Team Hughes fighting out of H.I.T. Squad, a Granite City, Illinois gym, which he co-owns with teammate and former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes and his twin brother Mark Hughes. 18 of his 22 victories are by KO or TKO.
As of March 17, 2014, he is #1 in official UFC welterweight rankings.
