Robert John Carington, 2nd Baron Carrington was a baron in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. He was the son of Robert Smith, 1st Baron Carrington. The Smith family adopted the name "Carington" in 1849. Note that the family name is spelled with one 'r' while the barony is spelled with two.
